No items may be attached or hung on wall, draping or permanent fixtures without prior approval from the planning committee. No lighter than air balloons (helium, etc) are permitted in the building.
All booths must be ready no later than 12:30pm on the 18th. Check-in and load-in are located in the rear of the casino. You cannot move product through the casino from the main entrance. You will be redirected by security. Please be aware the load-in door and Ovation Hall are on two different floors. To load into Ovation Hall, everything from the load-in area must be brought up in an elevator, dimensions are 8’4” deep, 4’4” wide and 7’ tall. Carts will be available to bring your supplies into the building.
Exhibitor parking will be available in the team member parking area, adjacent to the load-in door.
Each bag, box, case and enclosed item will be searched by security during the load-in AND load-out process. There are no exceptions to this policy. Please notify the planning committee if you will be bringing medical equipment into the building so they can alert security.
**Many exhibitors find it helpful and quicker to use clear plastic containers that can be seen through easily by security and bring their own small carts or two wheelers due to limited supply.**
An exhibitor badge will be issued upon entry to the facility. Please wear this badge while in back of house areas and remove this badge upon departure. Please notify the planning committee of how many people will be working at your booth to ensure badges for everyone.
Outside food and beverage are not permitted in Odawa Casino Resort. Beverages are available on the casino floor. Small snacks will be provided in the afternoon at Project Connect by the high school culinary arts students. The Copper Café and Waas No De’ Buffet restaurants are available for food purchases.
Security, Insurance and Liability
We will maintain strict security in the show room; however, exhibitors should never assume any building is completely secure. Each exhibitor is responsible for the security of all items in their display. Neither the Project Connect Planning Committee nor Odawa Casino is responsible for lost or stolen items.
Exhibiting companies and individuals are required to have an insurance certificate covering liability for exhibit contents, personnel and show guests within the exhibit space. Exhibitors assume all responsibility and shall indemnify and exempt Odawa Casino Resort and the Project Connect Planning Committee from all claims for damages.
The event closes at 7:00pm and access to the elevator and loading area will not be granted until that time. You cannot move product through the casino main entrance. You will be redirected by security. All displays must be moved out by Wednesday, March 18th at 9pm.
**We have extended the event to evening hours to accommodate working families and want to make sure they have the same access to services as the early visitors. Any exhibitor disassembling their booth prior to 7pm will be denied space at future events.**
All cancellations must be made with Caitlin Koucky. Please call or email no later than 9am, Wednesday, March 18th if you will not be able to attend due to unforeseen circumstances or weather. In the event of a no show, exhibitor may be denied space at future events.
Odawa hotel has rooms available with a shuttle between the casino and hotel. Mention Project Connect for a discounted rate of $79 that includes casino packages. Rate is for single/double. Extra adults are $15 per person.
